about us

Dolores Altaras set up the architectural practice in 1996 after many years working as an architect in a large private practice and a London local authority. Her experience includes working on an archaeologically sensitive site in Ludgate Hill, the creation of a dry ski slope in Kent, and building a £4m specialist teaching centre and swimming pool for disabled children in North London.

Altaras Architecture offers its clients a full service from feasibility and inception to site inspections and advice throughout the building works. Its designs and production drawings and documentation are of high quality and have been praised by both clients and contractors.

Other services include Party Wall Awards, CDM Coordination, Health and Safety advice, landscape design, interior design, and advice on the use of sustainable materials and building methods.
